Since the moment the Dodgers were officially done with the season, I've been comforting myself with Randy Newman singing "I Love LA" while imagining myself listening to this song at the stadium after a big win.
SO... what i'm trying to say is, i'm still not completely over it so if you say anything to me about the Dodgers getting swept or whatever, i WILL punch you in the face.
After the game on Saturday, Andre and I had a long talk about our relationship and we both decided it would be best to put our relationship on hold until next season- i guess i was too much of a distraction cuz ever since we started dating, he started playing poorly- so much of NL rookie of the year right? I suppose it'll be the best for us- i mean maybe he can spend his time practicing properly and getting good again. Friends, wait until next season cuz Andre will come back to surprise ya'll fo sho. Until then, farewell Andre.
So, my roommates and I started watching "My Girl" again and it's just as funny and enjoyable as it was the first time! watching korean dramas makes me want to get married, hahaha (Ang, remember when we used to always watch dramas and be sad cuz we thought we'll never get married?)

Monday, September 18 Yeah it's a little late but i have to share the joy because it was the greatest night of my life! So for those who don't know, the dodgers had the most AMAZING night ever. EVER. it's being compared to Kirk Gibson's homerun for the world series. WOAH! that's crazy right?!
So this is what happened.. so the dodgers were losing 9-5 in the bottom of the ninth and well, it's a pretty hopeless situation right? NO WAY! NOT FOR THE DODGERS NO!
Well...Before i wrote a special Linda commentary for this night and then i found videos on you tube (oh how i love you tube!) and thought perhaps words just don't do it- you have to see it for yourself to see how great and amazing this night was.. so here goes!
Watch the whole thing, it's worth it, i promise!! the icing on the cake.. doesn't watching nomar bat make you feel so giggly? teeheeheehee!!- if you watch this video and you don't feel a river of emotions then something is wrong with you!! (i hope these videos converted you non-dodger fans to at least somewhat dodger fans, HAHA) It's crazy how we all predicted that this game was going to be special.
Andy, it was seriously such a joy to see you get tormented and humiliated by our fellow dodger fans. no pity friend, you deserved it all for dressing in Giants gear to the greatest dodger game ever.
Christine, look at how you stand out. WHAT'S A MARINER? just become a dodger fan... cmon all your cool roomies are normal, what happened to you? haha, by the end of the year, you'll become one of us.

Can it be true? Do i only have one more home game before i move down to San Diego?? What am i to do??! I going to games! So i guess until we somehow make it to the playoff games, the only thing i can do is patiently watch games on the tele and think back on the good memories at the dodger stadium this summer..
Game 1: Dodgers v. Padres (July 8) Oh jeez was it hot that day! and yes.. the dodgers lost to the STUPID STUPID giants. but despite it all, it was a blast in the past AND we got free dodger bags! YAY!
Game 2: Dodgers v. Padres (July 24) Diana's first baseball game ever! I'm glad i got to share this joyous moment with you! AND, Tim caught a foul ball and we were on the screen! EXCITING!!!
Game 3: Dodgers v. Nationals (July 29) Yay for dodger dawgs.
Game 4: Dodgers v. Rockies (August 8) We were close to andre ethier I WILL marry him one day.. haha- yeah i know he's already married
Game 5: Dodgers v. Rockies (August 10) YAY for free rally towels! it was fun even though we were really late to the game!
Game 6: Dodgers v. Marlins (August 15) My mom started getting mad at me because she thought i went to too many games so i tricked her into going with me so she can't get upset, you know cuz she went w/ me? did that even make sense? no huh? anyways, good times with the family
Game 7: Dodgers v. Reds (August 28) BLUE FLOWERS! haha, and Eunice's almost first game cuz she fell asleep during her real first one.
AWW MAN, cmon somebody let's go before San Diego comes along!! and.. thinking back, i didn't even go to that many games!! I LOVE THE DODGERS!!!

VBS has come to an end, though it was a long process of preparation and such, it was certainly a blast in the past!! I didn't take a lot of pictures but b/c i didn't, i can post them all and show em to ya'll!! HURRAY!!!
This is Ryan, he's a frikin cutie. So one time during the preschool bible study, i think two sundays ago? They were talking about angels or something and the kids were instructed to flap their arms like the wings of an angel and this little boy says, "What about the DODGERS?" How can you not absolutely adore him?
This is Audrey. You can't really tell in this picture but she has a dimple on her upper cheek like i do and i pointed that out to her once and since then she always comes up to me and winks at me so i could see our identical dimple. (it's like in Friends when Joey meets his identical hand twin in Vegas, I found my identical dimple twin at VBS)
This is Russel. See that puppy doll he's holding? He never let's go of it- it's so worn out- you must see it. I have a video of him saying "GO TRITONS!"- it brought tears to my eyes. Baby Living Hopers already striving to go to the best school for proper education, UCSD. Russel likes Dr. Seuss and his books, he's destined to be a Geisel Library nerd.
This is the Drama Crew- David as the "King" (get it?), Diana as herself (Princess Diana.. OMY), Tim as Pepee Le Bull, Dennis as Macho Libre, Tom as Hasta, I'm La Vista (Obviously the best character of all), and Paul as El Diablo, the legendary and supposed to be scary bull. fun times friends!
Moving along, This isn't anything too crazy but it was way too cute to keep it to myself. I was watching the television last night and my dad comes up to me and gives me a plate of watermelon and this is what it looks like... TELL ME THAT'S NOT CUTE! I DARE YOU!!

Today, Susan and I started watching Season 1 of 24. I want to work with the CTU under Jack Bauer. I also want to take a picture like the one below with my very own personalized gun.
My first mission is to get an electric mixer so i can bake some yummy cookies.
